OUR STORY

A personal journey, rooted in nature

Dímelo Natural began with a personal need: to find a gentler, more conscious way to care for my skin and hair.

For years, I struggled with cystic acne and significant hair loss, both of which became worse after my daughter was born. She also had sensitive skin, and I wanted to find products that would help us care for ourselves in a gentler, more natural way. This led me to start making therapeutic glycerine soaps with botanical extracts, choosing ingredients that respected the skin and its needs.

Candles have also been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My parents made them in Colombia, and as a child, I loved watching the process. Over time, I wanted to reconnect with that tradition by creating candles made primarily from soy wax and scented with essential oils. I wanted them to be more than decorative objects: I wanted them to become part of a skincare ritual, combining wax with ingredients such as shea butter.

FROM A PERSONAL NEED TO A MORE PERSONAL APPROACH TO SKINCARE

Learning to listen to what each skin needs

My interest in natural cosmetics began many years ago. I have completed various courses and learned from professionals with different approaches, gradually bringing my own experience and sensitivity into everything I create.

My learning journey continues. I am currently returning to my European Master's in Natural and Organic Cosmetics and Dermopharmacy, which I had to put on hold due to personal circumstances. Continuing to study is an essential part of this journey for me. It allows me to deepen my knowledge, discover new perspectives and keep refining my approach to formulation.

Over time, I developed my own facial skincare line and went on to create a complete collection called MIUSCA, a tribute to my Colombian roots. This collection received ACENE certifications relating to natural, organic and vegan cosmetics.

It was an important period of learning. However, it also helped me understand something essential: my true calling was not to produce a range of products for everyone, but to formulate personalised creams, made by me in my own laboratory using fresh ingredients and designed around each person's individual needs.

Every person's skin is different. What works for one person may not be right for another. That is why I believe in skincare that listens, observes and respects individual needs, rather than offering the same solution to everyone.

I eventually decided to leave that collection behind and return to what I enjoy most: creating thoughtful formulations, paying attention to every detail and adapting my products to the person who needs them.

THE PERSON BEHIND DÍMELO NATURAL

Nature has always been part of who I am

My name is Diana Mejía Giraldo. Before dedicating myself fully to natural cosmetics, I worked as an early-years educator, a profession I loved. It gave me the opportunity to support young children during a formative stage of their lives. I look back on those years with great affection, but today I feel it is time to make way for a new generation and devote myself fully to another of my great passions: creating, experimenting and caring through nature.

My connection with nature goes back to childhood. I love plants, animals, stones and everything that reminds us that we are part of something greater.

Dímelo Natural allows me to keep that connection alive and turn it into something tangible: products created with care, knowledge and respect for the skin and the ingredients I use.

I also believe that we are much more than what we see on the surface. Our actions, beliefs and the way we care for ourselves can help us grow and move closer to becoming the best versions of ourselves.

The name Dímelo Natural comes from an acronym inspired by my own first and last names. The word Natural also represents something I deeply identify with: the nature of life, with its diversity, simplicity and capacity for transformation.

What began as a personal search to care for my own skin and hair, and my daughter's skin, has become a way of life and a way of working.

Today, my commitment is to create products honestly, listen to the people who place their trust in me and remember that skincare should not be about following a universal formula, but about understanding what each person needs.

Because caring for our skin also means learning to listen to ourselves.
